This video (after the jump) depicts a head-on collision between a 1959 Chevy Bel Air and a 2009 Chevy Malibu. Before watching, I guessed that the heavy, metal, classic Bel Air would destroy the new, plastic, crappy-looking Malibu. I was so wrong.

Forget about the many flaws and shortcomings of the American automobile industry (just for a moment), and be thankful that, at the very least, the cars have gotten safer over time.
