In the wake of recent apologies, possible presidential candidate and erstwhile House speaker Newt Gingrich appears to be heeding the clarion call of environmental consciousness--at least 60 percent of it anyway. However, Mr. Gingrich's debate partner--that bastion of wit and cynicism John Kerry--thought this newfound zeal a bit suspect, likening Gingrich-as-environmentalist to a hypothetical Barry Bonds-as-steroid-investigator. The real question is, How will this affect book sales?
