Meet five-year-old Joshua "Rizzo" Sacco, who, at last night's Red Sox vs. Yankees game, after channeling famed hockey coach Herb Brooks, propelled his beloved Sox to victory.
"Great moments are born from great opportunities," said Sacco, a resident of Tennessee, whose parents are native New Englanders. The kindergartner channeled Kurt Russell who played Brooks in the movie version, Miracle, where he pumped up his team before the Americans beat out the Soviets in the 1980 Olympics.
He first became a YouTube phenomenon at the tender age of four, memorizing the speech, since he could not yet read, by watching the movie dozens of times in a row.
