Make Your Own Meals: Share a Recipe #30DaysofGOOD
Share a recipe made up of healthy, locally sourced foods. We’ll give the top-voted chef $500 to cook the food and host a community meal.
Things are easier said than done, or so the old adage goes, and we couldn't agree more. That's why we do The GOOD 30-Day Challenge (#30DaysofGOOD), a monthly attempt to live better. Our challenge for June? Make your own meals.
The natural high you can score from pulling off a successful dinner party for a big crew of friends or throwing a block party cookout for neighbors is totally intoxicating. That’s because you’ve not only conquered a challenging task under stress, you’ve made something nourishing that you can share with people you care about.
This month, GOOD Maker is partnering with Eat For Equity to present the Share a GOOD Recipe challenge. Give us your best healthy, locally sourced recipe and tell us how you’d share your meal in a way that would benefit your community. If your idea is the top-voted entry, you’ll win $500 to make your dream meal a reality.
Remember Supermarket Sweep, the game show where contestants raced down shopping aisles, filling their carts with the priciest groceries they could grab? Imagine yourself doing that but at your favorite farmers market. And with the end result being an awesome meal that brings people together and makes your community a little better in the process. Check out GOOD Maker for all the details you need to participate in the challenge.
