The New Yorker Made a List of the Best Lists Ever

But I think they slighted Paul Simon.

It's the end of the year and you want your blog posts to be concise, comprehensive and listy. No problem. I hear you. So does the New Yorker.

They made a list of the 100 best lists of all time. Nixon's enemies list and Robert's Rules of Order are on there—as is the 1927 New York Yankees starting lineup, Mr. Neuman—but "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" apparently didn't make the cut.

Also present: The famous Van Halen tour rider with the M&M requirement ("NO BROWN ONES"), the periodic table of the elements and the Facebook friends list.

Anything you'd have added?
