Women Empowered is a collection of photographic portraits and personal stories of women in developing countries who have improved their lives and their communities despite oppression and gender discrimination. They're women dedicated to making things better against all odds, and the portraits are phenomenal.
We're co-hosting a reception and book signing with the photographer, Phil Borges, next Wednesday, November 14th, at the FiftyCrows Gallery in San Francisco.
