The #FlintWaterCrisis continues, months later after thousands of children and adults have been exposed to lead, other chemicals, E. coli—and who knows what else—in the Flint water supply, and the governor of Michigan is considering “maybe-well-maybe” type of taking action.

Many are saying that if this had happened in a mostly white, wealthy suburb of Detroit, this problem would have been fixed a long time ago (or never have been allowed to happen in the first place). Michael Moore captured the frustration and rage pretty well with this December 20, 2015, Tweet:
President Obama has declared a state of emergency in Flint, but as this disturbing story continues to spread, don’t be surprised if demand for more meaningful action only grows louder.
