The Czech artists Vladimír Turner and Ond?ej Mladý have made a gizmo that projects a bike lane onto the street as you ride. It's very similar in concept to the LightLane we wrote about in 2009. Obviously, this not a practical solution to the transportation issues in our cities. While this thing does give you something like a bike lane to ride in, the drawback is that it doesn't actually make it any safer to ride your bike wherever you want. But the video is still fun, especially at about 0:33 when the cyclist is riding at just the right speed and it looks like the lane might actually be painted on the street.
