The Bay Bridge in San Francisco, which connects the city and Oakland, is scheduled for demolition as soon as its more earthquake-friendly replacement is completed. But rather than scrap the old one, two San Francisco architects have a proposal along the lines of the High Line in New York: turn it into an urban park and apartments.
