Recently, while running the press gauntlet for the release of her new album 25, British singer Adele was asked by Sirius XM’s The Spectrum about reports that she struggled with body image issues. Adele responded with, “I do have body image problems, for sure, but I don’t let them rule my life at all. And there’s bigger issues going on in the world than how I might feel about myself.” She also revealed the motto she lives by to help her express her individuality in art, life, and looks. “There’s only one of you, so why would you want to look like everyone else?” she asked. “Why would you want to have the same hairstyle as everyone else and have the same opinions as everybody else?”
