Donald Trump has stomped the competition in the 2016 GOP primaries, beating out 17 candidates to become the party’s presumptive nominee. But that doesn’t mean he’s popular with the American electorate. A poll conducted by the Public Policy Polling found that 34 percent of voters have a favorable opinion of him while 61 percent have an unfavorable one. While his unfavorables are some of the highest for a major candidate in the modern era, what’s shocking may be that 34 percent of people still think of him favorably.

Throughout his campaign, Trump has managed to offend Hispanics, African-Americans, women, the disabled, Muslims, and those that aren’t interested in the size of his genitals. He is also repulsive to people that actually care if a candidate has mature policy positions. So, to learn just how unpopular The Donald is with the American electorate, Public Policy Polling surveyed 1,222 registered voters and asked whether they had a higher opinion of Trump to some of the most despised things in American life.

Do you have a higher opinion of Donald Trump or _______ ?

Hipsters: Hipsters 45% / Trump 38%

Nickelback: Nickelback 39% / Trump 34 %

Used Car Salesmen: Salesmen 47% / 41%

Traffic Jams: Traffic Jams 47% / Trump 40%

The DMV: DMV 50% / Trump 40%

Root Canals: Root canals 49% / Trump 38%

Jury Duty: Jury duty 57% / Trump 35%

Head Lice: Lice 54% / Trump 28%

Things weren’t all bad for The Donald. The poll found that people like him more than hemorrhoids and cockroaches.

Cockroaches: Trump 46% / Cockroaches 42%

Hemorrhoids: Trump 45% / Hemorrhoids 39%

Although these polls seem to bode well for the presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, she shouldn’t feel too confident. A national poll released today by Reuters shows that Republicans are beginning to hold their nose and rally around Trump. The poll found that 41 percent of likely voters support Clinton, 40 percent side with Trump, and 19 percent are undecided. C’mon Hillary, people like root canals more than your opponent, it shouldn’t be this close.
