We've been doing lots of stuff on visually mapping the financial collapse (and, you know, visually mapping stuff in general), but this is the first chart I've found that makes it stupidly simple for me to really put this crisis in perspective. Plus it includes "Four Bad Bear(s)" in the title, which is a sweet name for a band made up of aging investment bankers who have lost their jobs and are just looking to "get loose" a little.For another awesome visualization-an animated one!-check out the shrinking market cap of the S&P 100 companies from December, 2007, until this January.
