After Getting Caught Drawing On A Mirror, Cute Two-Year-Old Blames Batman

It’s been seen over 1.5 million times

When children are caught doing something wrong, their first instinct is usually to blame someone or something else. Sadly, some people reach adulthood and still behave the same way. Being able to admit when you’re wrong is a strong leadership trait and shows integrity and honesty. But in the video above, Laura Hopkins of Inverness, Scotland probably had a hard time getting too angry with her two-year-old son, Noel. He looked at the mess he created on a mirror and blamed it on someone who’s well known for clandestine acts of treachery: Batman.

“If anybody see’s Batman can you tell him I’m wanting a word,” Hopkins wrote on her Facebook post which has been seen over 1.5 million times. After deciding it wasn’t the Caped Crusader who wrote all over the mirror, she played mommy detective and came up with a likely scenario. “I think Noel had gone into his sister’s room and she has a makeup box under her bed. He’d obviously gotten to it,” Hopkins told ABC News. Hopkins says her son is obsessed with superheroes, especially The Incredible Hulk. “I think Batman is his least favorite and that’s why he got blamed,” she says.
