All it took was an email.
Natalia Armoza always wanted to take her daughter, Pearl, to one of the New York City Ballet’s dance workshops, but she was never able to. Pearl suffers from cerebral palsy, and her mother feared she would be subjected to unwanted attention from the other children. Unwilling to let Pearl’s disability stop her from taking part in the workshops, Armoza emailed the ballet asking if they would consider hosting a workshop for children with disabilities. The response she received was more amazing than she could have imagined.
