Bergedorfer Beer’s New ‘Brewed With Love’ Campaign

Great taste, more filling

No matter what a man does, he will never truly understand the joys and pains of pregnancy and childbirth. But there’s one thing men can have that most women cannot, a beer belly. After puberty, women and men develop differing fat storage patterns that allow men to store more in their bellies. Although beer bellies aren’t necessarily caused by booze, alcohol consumption is a leading cause of belly fat in gentlemen. Now, the fine folks at German brewery Bergedorfer Bier are giving guys a reason to be proud of it.

Advertising firm Jung von Mott teamed up with Bergedorfer on a new campaign called “Brewed with Love.” The print ads show men lovingly embracing their beer bumps like expectant mothers do with their pregnant bellies. These men beam with pride while cradling the expanded waistlines they’ve cultivated over years of sitting on the couch, and in the bar, consuming the German brewery’s product.
