“It’s ok, they may have guns, but we have flowers.”
In this interview by French TV show, Le Petit Journal at the scene of the Bataclan attacks, a young boy and his father discuss whether they should move because of the “bad guys.” The boy is afraid because “they have guns, they can shoot us because they’re really really mean, Daddy.” But his father’s thoughtful and caring response quickly soothes the frightened young boy. It’s something everyone should consider in the wake of violence.
