Using Tim Flannery's new book The Weather Makers, the Freedom Blog has compiled some of the most damning statistics. Some of our favorites:In the 1960s, 7 million people were affected by flooding annually; today 150 million are.It is estimated that 100 tons of ancient planet life is required to create one gallon of gasoline.And, most disturbingly:Nine of the 10 warmest years on record have been since 1990.Yikes.
