The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation awarded its fellows for 2008 yesterday. There's an astronomer, a neuroscientist, an urban farmer, a novelist, and a number of other deserving types in this year's cohort. While we haven't yet received one of these no-strings-attached, genius fellowships, we'd seriously consider accepting one in the future.Here's the complete list.Here are a few videos of the recipients.
