Steve Jobs has an Oprah-like status with lots of gadget fetishists. Today he announced the MacBook Air. It's three quarters of an inch thick, incredibly sleek and costs around $1,800. The internet is abuzz.
Greenpeace has been worried about toxic chemicals in Apple products before. It looks like Apple regards this as a real problem. Or at least a PR problem. Their page for the new product has an "Environmental Status Report".
