Another fast-food worker has joined the Fight for $15. Amanda Monroe decided to raise awareness for the cause by testifying at a hearing about raising the minimum wage. Joined by her 3-year-old son Ocean, Monroe gave an incredible speech about her experience raising a family while working at McDonalds. The testimony perfectly demonstrated how a $15 an hour minimum wage would change her life, and the lives of the many other fast-food workers like her.
