Neighborday—our hyperlocal, hyperglobal holiday—is back. Let’s celebrate our blocks and the people next door.
At GOOD, we spend a lot of time thinking and talking about how to build community. But five years ago, we realized that we hardly knew our neighbors—you know, the ones who share our walls and fences. So we decided to change that by turning the last weekend in April into a global block party called Neighborday.
This year, Neighborday is April 25—and it’s the perfect time to connect with those strangers who live next door. It’s all about potlucks and face-to-face interactions with the people who love the same local shops and sights as you. Why not say hello?
Since this is Neighborday’s fifth go-round, we wanted to make it even more special. So we hope you'll share your celebration on our new app, CTZN. Plus, check out Neighborday 2015’s digital home for a few ideas about how to make the holiday your own. We can’t wait to see what you come up with.
