From Calculated Risk, via Matt Yglesias, comes this eye-opening chart. Our current recession is, quite literally, the worst. It appears we're coming out of it, but who knows? The 1990 and 2001 recessions were flattish at the bottom. It's not good news, but it's good to have the knowledge.
