As part of Elle’s #MoreWomen campaign, the British version of the magazine just released this short video that highlights the lack of female representation in politics, media, and other areas of power and influence. The video takes photos from political and media settings and then photoshops the men out of the images to show just how striking the ratio of men to women really is.

Although this is a campaign that is done in part to bring attention to a publisher’s brand, it still raises an important question, why aren’t there more women in these positions of power?
