GOOD, Acumen Fund, and ABC's Be The Change project recently collaborated on a competition called "Moms Matter." The point of the project was to "raise attention to the hundreds of thousands of women who die in pregnancy and childbirth of causes we've long known how to treat and cure." A worthy goal, right?
Participants sent in submission of all kinds—Tweets, print ads, guerrilla marketing campaigns, videos, essays—all designed to spread the message that maternal health is really, really important.
