So, how's the old bracket coming along? If you're feeling a little upset over a couple upsets (Winthrop, for example), or you're downright drowning in your office pool, don't fret. One of our colleagues had Duke, Stanford, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and New Mexico State going to the Final Four.

Anyway, believe it or not, the world has not stood still since that opening tip-off yesterday. In fact, we kicked off the week at SXSW.

There was talk of marriage and apes.

The week saw celebrations for Kottke and Pi, and recognition for newspapers and microfinancers.

While the world got warmer, one man's impact got lesser, and Brazil got its groove back.
