When a parent or grandparent gets some kind of illness, usually they get better, right? Their children and grandchildren experience initial sadness and then joy when their loved one gets out of bed to once again dance with them, and laugh, and go for long walks.
But these children have a parent or grandparent with dementia, which is something that doesn’t go away.
