This Is What It's Like to Clean Oil Off a Pelican

If you care about wildlife, then when someone spills a bunch of oil in the Gulf you have to track down, lather up, and rehabilitate a lot of pelicans. Then you give them a ride to Florida and hope they don't come back. It's a sisyphean task.
