Former Presidential frontrunner Rudy Giuliani finished third in yesterday's Florida primary, the anticipated denouement to the ultimate campaign fizzle. The front-runner in the polls as recently as the end of December, Mr. 9/11 had put the extent of his dwindling America's-mayor chips on the Sunshine State. But after skipping out on the first six Republican primaries and caucuses, the GOP's momentum had shifted to John McCain and Mitt Romney and Rudy was, alas, buried in the pack. Today in Southern California, Giuliani is expected to bow out of the race and to endorse John McCain.
