Cop’s Attempt to Disperse Group of Teens Ends Spectacularly

by Craig Carilli

October 29, 2015

After D.C. police broke up a fight between two groups of teenagers on Monday, one officer used a strange technique to disperse the crowd: a dance-off. It all happened when 17-year-old Aaliyah Taylor approached the female officer, started to play “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” on her phone, and busted out her version of the Nae Nae dance. According to Taylor, the officer told her she had way better dance moves and the dance-off began.

The impressive dance moves were caught on the video above. The scene offers a nice reminder of the positive impact police can have in their communities.
