Want to “round them all up”? Here’s what that actually looks like.
Several candidates during this election cycle have indicated they want to “round them all up” and send them “back where they came from.”
Well, what that actually looks like is something that more people should know a little something about.
It’s terrifying to some, maddening to others, and at its root … un-American.
What can we do?
For starters, we can stop supporting jingoistic candidates or treating their messages of xenophobia as a joke. And once we’ve reached that point, we can have constructive and productive conversations about how to help people rather than hurt them.
