Many people are so enraptured by American Idol that they might not know that, over in Europe, a similar contest has been going on. It's called the Eurovision Song Contest, and it's like American Idol but with representatives from each European country singing original compositions. The winners were a Gwar-like band from Sweden called Lordi. You can see them perform their totally amazing winning song, "Hard Rock Hallelujah" here.
