While his co-host’s appearance was attacked on a daily basis, not a single person noticed he wore the same suit every day for a year.
Karl Stefanovic (AKA, the Australian Matt Lauer) just revealed that he’s been conducting a secret year-long experiment: For the past 365 days, the talk show host has worn the exact same suit on every single broadcast (minus a couple of days when the suit was at the cleaners). He pulled the silly-sounding prank to illustrate just how offensive and sexist some viewers are towards his “Today” show co-host, Lisa Wilkinson.
"No one has noticed; no one gives a shit," Stefanovic told Fairfax Media. "Women are judged much more harshly and keenly for what they do, what they say and what they wear."
