BP Creates a Flickr Set of Its Own Deception

After the discovery that BP Photoshopped yet another press image, the company has created its own Flickr set entitled "BP Altered Images."

I would say they get transparency points for this move, but they just keep hedging. To minimize embarrassment, BP has only posted small versions of the altered images.

Going forward, BP could restore a modicum of credibility by finding the next Photoshop mess before the bloggers do, but they probably won't. Preventative safety isn't really their thing.
