Senator Elizabeth Warren has yet to endorse a candidate, but she is mobilizing her supporters to take action against the Republican front-runner. Her series of tweets are as relentless and as furious as any late night rant, but with no regrets.
“Let’s be honest - @realDonaldTrump is a loser. Count all his failed businesses. See how he cheated people w/ scams like Trump U.”
Asked for a response, Trump shrugged it off, calling Warren “the Indian” (a reference to Warren’s comments about her Native American heritage).
Warren’s efforts underscore the anti-Trump actions across the aisle, as Republican lawmakers strategize to hobble his campaign. But so far, Mitt Romney’s condemnation, a scorching attack by the National Review, and a mobilization of members of Congress have not stopped Trump’s progress at the polls.
