Female Scientists Strike Back at Sexist Nobel Prize Winner

#DistractinglySexy goes viral as the scientific community mocks antiquated sexism in the lab.

At the World Conference of Science Journalists in South Korea, Nobel Prize-winning scientist, Tim Hunt, made a shockingly sexist remark. As a result, he resigned as as honorary professor at University College London.
Let me tell you about my trouble with girls...Three things happen when they are in the lab: You fall in love with them, they fall in love with you, and when you criticize them they cry.
In retaliation for Hunt’s boneheaded remark, female scientists across the globe mocked him by taking pictures and posting them on Twitter under the hashtag #Distractinglysexy.

Here are some of the best tweets.
