GOOD Maker is on the hunt for innovative social media campaigns that champion important social causes.
Social media isn't just for silly memes: Online campaigns can drive real change, too. The best of them compel us to watch, share, and become invested in a cause. In the spirit of the recent Kony 2012 video and Caine’s Arcade scholarship movement, GOOD Maker is on the hunt for innovative social media campaigns that champion important social causes. We'll give $1,000 to the nonprofit whose campaign draws the most votes.
Individuals, nonprofits, and creative agencies are all invited to nominate a campaign that successfully created change. Any type of online campaign is welcome—videos, mobile apps, Twitter organizing, or anything else. We’ll share tips from innovative campaigns and organizers.
Submissions are open between April 25 and May 24 at 3 p.m. EST. From May 24 through June 7, we’ll open the contest to public voting. Join the conversation on Twitter @GOODmkr using the hashtag #ViralGOOD.
