Perhaps you, many months ago, read this New Yorker article about Anne Cooper, the chef who was turning Berkeley, California's school lunch program into a healthy and gourmet choice. Our friends at Chow.com have posted a nice little video series about Cooper and how she's doing. To be totally honest, while we acknowledge that this food is probably saving little fat children's lives, we enjoyed ourselves some lovely nachos and pizza in high school, and wouldn't have touched a whole wheat tortilla chip with a 10 foot pole. Then again, we weren't 100 pounds overweight. For a little bonus, here is GOOD's look at some meals across the country, including a school lunch.
