Ingenious Filmmaker Creates Holographic Dioramas of Movie Scenes

Filmmaker Jeff Desom has created a new and unique art form that combines the optical theaters of the late 1800s with modern holographic technology. Desom uses a simple holographic process to create moving characters that are projected onto extremely detailed backgrounds and models. His living dioramas present amazingly accurate recreations of iconic scenes from films such as Apocalypse Now, The Big Lebowski, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, and, from TV, David Lynch’s Twin Peaks.
