Who knew?Leonard Abess Jr. made tens of millions of dollars selling his Miami-based bank, City National Bancshares, to a Spanish buyer. He then gave $60 million to his employees-bonuses ranged from $10,000 to $100,000. In a world of Bernie Madoffs and John Thains and Dick Fulds, we'd like to salute Mr. Abess, for doing his best for giving filthy rich people a little bit of good PR, in what has otherwise been a rough few months.
