It's getting harder and harder to know what to say on these anniversaries. On the one hand, the increasing exploitation of this tragedy makes you want to counteract that by doing your best to pretend that it's just a regular day of historical remembrance, like Washington's birthday. On the other hand, it's not, and as something that is still fresh in our collective memory, it deserves some sort of serious and somber commemoration. We're not sure what to do, besides avoiding all the hype and taking a moment of silence (or several) throughout the day.
