Cool Compilation of Astronaut Chris Hadfield’s Space Videos

Life in zero gravity is no joke.

Retired astronaut Chris Hadfield has the awesome distinction of being the first Canadian to walk in space. But he’s probably best known for his cover of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” and accompanying video filmed completely in orbit. His off-Earth exploits include flying the Space Shuttle Atlantis to rendezvous with Russia’s Mir station and spacewalking during an Endeavor mission. His final trek into space and back was aboard the International Space Station from December 2012 to May 2103. Throughout his final trip, Hadfield recorded videos in his downtime to show what life’s like in zero gravity.

Here’s a collection of Hadfield’s videos where he demonstrates how simple things we take for granted on Earth can be a real challenge in space.
