Pope Francis Drops the Mic on Climate Change Deniers

Since Pope Francis made public his stance on climate change, he’s been receiving a lot of media attention. We’ve seen some pretty creative responses to his announcement, like this movie trailer depicting him as a kickboxing action hero. However, in the video response from New York City filmmaker Brian Lannin, Francis is stepping out of the ring to drop some bars at an open mic. The Pope, played by Paul Barman, jumps around the stage delivering his message to climate change deniers in the form of some pretty sick rhymes. People may deny climate change, but they can’t deny that Francis totally killed it.

Walmart workers issued a "wake up call" to Alice Walton, an heir to the retailer's $500 billion fortune, in New York on Tuesday by marching to Walton's penthouse and demanding her company pay its 1.5 million workers a living wage and give them reliable, stable work schedules.

The protest was partially a response to the company's so-called "Great Workplace" restructuring initiative which Walmart began testing last year and plans to roll out in at least 1,100 of its 5,300 U.S. stores by the end of 2020.
