Hi. For the past fortnight or so, we've been caught up in merry-making-be it for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Years, or just for the fun of being absurdly drunk and giggly for many days on end. Plenty of smiles times, you know?Of course, as The Big Picture's recent Israel and Gaza collection reminds us, there are some places where conflict doesn't take a holiday.We bring that up, not to bring you down, but to remind ourselves that things could be a lot worse.
