We know we're in the middle of Chinahere, but let's cast our minds back briefly to our Food Issue, where one of the things we discussed was the eating of meat. There was quite a bit of backlash from people who don't eat meat (scroll down to see the comments). To perhaps add fuel to that fire, here is a Flickr set of a Berkshire pig from a small farm being butchered. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you ascribe to the belief, as we do, that eating meat is fine as long as you confront where it came from, it's an important thing to watch.
