This piece on web design theory is very interesting, what with our brand-new shiny website, and all. Why do so many ugly websites become so successful? Like say, Craigslist, or Drudge? It's because they are easy to use, and they make people feel safe, as opposed to really beautiful websites that are impossible to navigate. It's sort of like how down-home type politicians only wear off-the-rack suits.
