12 Days of Architecture: 7 New Projects
Architecture for Humanity is working with sustainable-energy leader Enel to build capacity in disadvantaged communities around the world.
In homage to one of our favorite holiday tunes, Architecture for Humanity is sharing 12 of our favorite moments of 2012. For day six, in place of seven swans-a-swimming, we're celebrating seven new projects that we're working on in the Enel Community Empowerment Program in Latin America and Eastern Europe.\n
Since December 2011, Architecture for Humanity has been working with Enel, Europe's second largest utility company and a pioneer in sustainable energy around the world, in a program that will build capacity in communities living in rural and urban areas affected by considerable poverty and social disadvantage. The projects range from building additions to a vocational school in Colombia to renovating a medical center in Romania. Read more here.
