In the obvious department, it turns out that people who live in places with higher population density, drive less. It's still pretty shocking how much time people spend in their cars. In case you missed it, the NYT reported last weekend how the amount of time people spends in their cars is forcing them to eat more in their cars, which is forcing them to eat things like chemically treated apple slices.
