One thing we've certainly noticed being here is that Denver is filled with journalists, and less filled with political people. We're probably going to the wrong parties, but it seems like everyone you see has a ubiquitous press pass around their neck. Not really sure what this means, except that in an age where nothing is happening at the convention (and a sad number of people give boilerplate speeches to a hall full of inattentive, chattering people), maybe this whole thing is getting blown out of proportion by a lot of journalists (ourselves included) looking for a free trip.
