Nonprofits across the country are still feeling the pinch of a sluggish economic recovery.
Nonprofits across the country are still feeling the pinch of a sluggish economic recovery. The call to each one of us is to dig deeper into our pockets, volunteer our time and skills, and lend an extra hand to the people, programs and services moving our communities forward.
GOOD and Brookside Foods want to give thanks by “Giving Back” to a local nonprofit that’s hard at work in the community. We’re inviting official representatives of 501(c)(3) organizations to tell us how $5,000 will make a difference in the services they provide, from educational programming to health initiatives to neighborhood cleanups. Participate by submitting an application here between now and December 1. GOOD will review each entry, and from December 1 to December 9, we'll invite you to vote for the organization whose proposal would have the most impact. The winner will receive the sweet treat of a $5,000 grant, plus a writeup on our website.
The Brookside Foods Giving Back Challenge is one small way to express your gratitude for a worthy nonprofit in these tough times, so encourage your favorite local nonprofit to submit an entry or casting your vote as an enthusiastic supporter.
