IDEO Imagines a Grim, Energy-grubbing Future

This video by the design firm IDEO imagines a future in which electricity is 20 times as expensive as it is now (apparently that Bloom Box doesn't work out) and considers how that will affect the way children play. In short: Your children will be forced to play, even in the rain, in order to generate electricity, and they'll hoard batteries.[vimeo][/vimeo]And it'll all happen to a somewhat sinister, Danny Elfman-esque organ grinder's soundtrack.
